The Road Keeps Going

Image
The map I drew when I was young has coffee stains and songs unsung. Some roads I planned have disappeared — and some I feared have brought me here. I have lost things I thought I'd keep, I have woken up from dreams too deep. But every ending, soft or loud, was just a door, not just a cloud. So walk, even when the way is long; the road keeps going, and so does the song. You don't need to see the end to start — just one brave step, and an open heart. One brave step is enough. 🌅

Still Water

Image
I spent years chasing a quieter mind, running from noise I could never outwind. But peace was not hiding somewhere far — it was waiting wherever I already are. So I sat by the water and let it be, let the morning arrive without hurrying me. The ripples settled, the sky grew wide, and something in me stopped trying to hide. Not every storm needs an answer today. Some clouds just pass, and pass away. I am learning the art of standing still — a quiet heart, a steadier will. For anyone learning to be still. 🌊

A Friend Who Stayed

Image
Everyone loves you when the sky is clear, when the laughter is loud and the road is near. But friends are not counted in the sunny days — they are found in the quiet, unshowy ways. You stayed when my voice had nothing to say, when the good news faded and the light went gray. No grand advice, no fixing speech — just a hand in reach, and a chair, and peace. So here is my thanks, in plainest rhyme: you gave me your presence, you gave me your time. The world moves fast, but some things stay — thank God for a friend who stayed. Tag the friend who stayed. 🤍

My Own Arms

Image
I waited years for someone to choose me, to hold me close and finally see me. I searched for love in every face, and found an empty, echoing place. Then one gray morning, by the sea, I stopped — and truly looked at me. The eyes that cried, the hands that shook, were worth the gentlest second look. So now I hold myself at last, and I forgive me for the past. No waiting rooms, no closed-up doors — the love I craved was always yours. Mine. All mine. And it was free — the arms I needed were holding me. The love you've been waiting for is already yours. 🤍

The Quiet Hour

Image
The clock ticks soft in the quiet hour, when the world is asleep and I've no one to call. The city hums beneath its iron tower, and I am small — yet standing tall. Loneliness knocks, but I don't let it in; I've learned the echo of my own skin. These empty rooms have taught me this: to be alone is not to be amiss. I brew my tea, I dim the light, I make my peace with the falling night. For in the silence, soft and deep, I find the dreams I mean to keep. Alone, not lonely. 🌙

Scars That Bloom

Image
I used to hide the broken parts of me, tuck them deep where no one else could see. But wounds don't heal in the dark, I found — they grow in silence, underground. So here I stand, unstitched, unsealed, no longer begging to be healed. My scars don't make me less than whole — they are the windows of my soul. And look — where the deepest cut had been, something green is pushing through the skin. The pain was never meant to stay; it only came to light the way. So if you're broken, friend, be still — even shattered things can bloom at will. For everyone healing quietly — this one's for you. 🌅
